Ordering an item

Your order is only accepted by us (and a contract formed) when we send you an email notifying you that your item(s) have been dispatched. Any products on the same order which are not referenced in our dispatch e-mail do not form part of that contract.

We may not be able to accept your order as a result of one of the following:

  • the product you ordered being out of stock;
  • we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment;
  • you have asked us to deliver your order to a location to which we do not offer delivery;

Delivery

We charge a postage and packing fee to cover the costs of sending you your products, this allows more money to go towards our services.

Please note that all items are packaged individually, therefore postage rates are quoted and must be paid per item.

UK Delivery

£4.95 per item (including VAT)

Delivery outside the UK (Europe only)

£12.95 per item (including VAT)

We shall not be responsible to you for any delays in the delivery of items that are caused by events outside of our control. However, we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of any such events, and we will try to minimise the effects of any delay.

All steps are taken to ensure your items reach you in good condition, however, as these items are ceramic, we understand that there is a small risk of damage and/or breakage that may occur in transit. If your items have been damaged or broken in transit, please contact us via email at info@thebutterflies.org.uk with photographic evidence of the damage and we will replace your item at no cost to you.

Please note that the butterflies are individually hand-crafted and therefore variations in colour, shape, pattern and glaze coverage are to be expected.

Cancelling your order

You are entitled to cancel your order for any reason up to and including 14 days after the day on which you receive your order confirmation.

If you cancel your order before we dispatch it, we will refund all sums you have paid to us for that order (including the delivery costs paid by you) no later than 14 days after the day of you telling us you want to cancel.

We are unable to accept returns of items and refund sums paid to us once items have been dispatched.
